Someone below mentioned they got the em28xx-new package working with 2.6.26.2 
kernel - Fedora hasn't offered this kernel version as a "yum" update with F9 
yet.

I have successfully gotten through these steps - and even built my own kernel.

How much should the "extraversion" line be edited?  For example, do I need the 
full line of uname -r:
EXTRAVERSION = .14-108.fc9.x64_86

Or do I need everything up to the "fc9", e.g.:
EXTRAVERSION = .14-108
