Except that we now have the factual knowledge as well as the written explanation of Richard that there can be situations in which he will do a release without asking or telling anybody in advance, and these emergency releases will, in all likelihood due to his personal release scripts, carry the minor number incremented, and not be something like 21.4b or whatever. At the time where we discussed this last, there already had been considerable talk about 21.4, and the question was whether one should invalidate this without concrete reason. There has been no previous talk about 21.5, in contrast, and in view of the facts it would be foolish to make the same mistake again. -- David Kastrup, Kriemhildstr. 15, 44793 Bochum _______________________________________________ Emacs-devel mailing list Emacs-devel@gnu.org http://lists.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/emacs-devel
