I'm talking about using fallbacks when you need them, not how you
configure them. And in this context, I would never say 'although'
because I see no opposition between the two facts.
I remember that I suggested using a specific font set quite at the
beginning of this discussion and someone (rightfully) objected to this
suggestion because he didn't want to use it for some justified
reasons...
Let me give another example: fallback for emojis.
If I were to suggest "Noto Emoji", macOS users could -rightfully,
again- object because their system ships with "Apple Emoji". The other
way it also holds.
And, last but not least, people not using emojis could object too,
because why configuring something they don't use.
As the saying goes here in Spain, "these things are charged by the
devil, and shot by ...".
Just that ;-)
