Good point. Alternative frontends in theory display the same information in a different way, so I would also be fine with treating them similarly as the authoritative source. In practice this doesn't hold up however, they are less reliable and do not show the same information. Gothub for example does not show issues or wikis. The footnote in /worg/exporters/taskjuggler/ox-taskjuggler.html [1] refers to an issue, and /worg/org-blog-wiki.html [2] refers to the wiki of a GitHub repo. Both of these links *cannot* be shown without non-free JS - or at least not with Gothub.
