I wasn't expecting that everybody would feel the way I feel about the matter. It is clear from the discussion that some feel fine with this software because it is alleged to do something desireable. I don't feel fine with it because it is closed, and I have the same distrust of the other pieces of proprietary software that have been promoted on this list through the years.
