After all these years, a problem with CE I don't think I can fix but here goes:
Yesterday I was cleaning out all of my folders and archiving old mail into text and deleting the folder. After I was finished, my deleted folder contained about 13,000 messages. I began deleting the messages and CE froze. When I restarted and relaunched CE, the browser window wouldn't open. I did another restart and got an error message telling me that CE could not be launched because the database was not compatible with the newer version of CE. So I reinstalled CE (v 2.03) retrieved the old database file and put it in the new mail folder in the CE files and.... A Big Fat Nothing. I have all of the database files (old) from previous rebuilding going back to April. Is there anyway to retrieve my old mail? I'm guessing I am dead in the water here.
