As a matter of fact, I am running everything through the spam filters 
first. This seemed most logical, since many of the routings for specific 
mail accounts would "pre-empt" the spam routings (the old "Stop Mail 
Actions if criteria are met" issue).

However, your argument makes some sense. I will try moving the spam 
filters "down" in the actions list. Eliminating some of the e-mails prior 
to "spam-grinding" could reduce the burden during that process.
