Oh boy - I'm at my wit's end. I can't even send mail from my own main
name with attbi.com - I keep getting "relaying not allowed".......geesh!

The attbi.com service had some major problem with their server yesterday
in that I was connecting, lights flashing but not getting DNS response.
The person who answered the phone took care of it (and admitted it was on
their end) and by the time I got home from work, it was functional once
more.

However, I want to tell you that, since ATT took over Media One, their
servers have been STILL giving me the errors that say they are "busy" and
to try again in 5 minutes......this is outrageous.

Now I have a new error just since the glitch of yesterday and that is a
"Mail could not be sent because a network stream error occurred".
However, the mail is still sent. I don't understand why I would get the
error but the mail is actually sent. I just sent mail to my parents and
got the error, but alas, the mail indeed was sent.

What have they done to their setup that would cause this? I have never in
three years had all this trouble. My configuration has not changed at all.

They tried to tell me to use a different piece of software whose language
they could "understand". Telling me the server is "busy" or "unavailable"
is in plain English and should be understood by
everyone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

One thing for sure is, it's INEXCUSABLE when I'm paying over $40 per
month for this service.
