If I understand correctly, the problem began after installing Office... If that's the case, try un-installing it, then re-installing, and see what happens each time. It may simply be that some corruption crept in with the Office installation.
If that doesn't provide any illumination, try eliminating half the extensions at a time and see of either half causes the problem. If that works, keep dividing by half... it can go pretty quickly. I have Conflict Catcher, which automates the process, but it can be done by hand. It took me about an hour and a half to find a 3-way conflict working manually a few years ago... not too bad, really... find some mindless fine literature to read during the reboots.
