I've been having the same problem with my PowerMac G4 AGP-grapics. I have OS9.22 and QT 6.0.2. When I temporarily disabled the QuickTime extension the problem went away. Re-enable it and the problem is back. Replaced the System and Finder. Rebuilt the desktop and Zapped the PRAM. No improvement.
