Thank you all for your replies regarding my wife not being able to connect with aol even though her CE (and computer) configurations were exactly the same as mine - and I was connecting just fine.
AOL recently announced a new (to us) access number for this area (area code 561). We had both been using 515-9500 (that continues to work for me - but not for my wife). The new number (629-2010) appears to have solved my wife's problems. Go figure!!?? Thanks again!
