Hey folks! When I send ms word attachments from emailer to yahoo mail accounts, the folks using ms windows cannot seem to download them properly.
The problem is that they are listed as having File type: application/octet-stream instead of what should come up File type: application/msword Has anyone seen this, and does anyone have a convenient workaround? I've found an inconvenient workaround: send the mail to myself from emailer redirect the mail using Mail (under Mac OS X 10.2.2) This makes the file type what it should be. If I send the file out of Mail directly, yahoo insists that the file is Filetype: application/applefile Thanks for any hints.
