Everything was working fine with CE using dialup to one of AT&T WorldNet's phone numbers (in Florida).
I've just gone to Adelphia cable. Netscape is working fine, but CE is not connecting. My settings (which work fine with AT&T WorldNet's phone number): Account Name: AT&T WorldNet User Name: Encrypted (as per AT&T instructions) Email account: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Email password: � � � � � � � � � � � � � � (works fine with AT&T WorldNet's phone number) SMTP server: mailhost.worldnet.att.net Email address: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Use Internet Config settings is UNchecked - but checking it does not seem to make any difference. When I try to use CE with Adelphia cable it just sits there - nothing happens. When I go back to dialup (as I did to send this) all is well. What am I doing wrong?
