AT&T WorldNet's POP3 and SMTP servers are hidden behind a firewall. They can't be accessed from outside their own network. (Unless your email client is capable of making secure socket layer (SSL) connections to nonstandard port numbers, which Emailer -- with or without Baton Mail -- is not capable of doing.) That's why Emailer can't connect when you're using Adelphia.Everything was working fine with CE using dialup to one of AT&T WorldNet's phone numbers (in Florida).I've just gone to Adelphia cable. Netscape is working fine, but CE is not connecting.
Where did you see these instructions? I've gotten email from people on AT&T WorldNet and none of their user names are encrypted.Account Name: AT&T WorldNet User Name: Encrypted (as per AT&T instructions)
