I really can't answer your question regarding the signal you are giving to porn sites with the automatic reply, but I can tell you a different reason why your system would not work for me. I teach part time at a university that contacts me through email, and the email is html. Its very irritating, but I'd like to keep getting classes to teach, so I can't very well be sending them automatic messages that tell them I've trashed their mail. Does no one else have a similar problem? On a related matter, the university has an extensive on-line education program, but they tell me I must use a PC to participate. I've pointed out that I already communicate with my conventional-class students by email, receive MS Word and Powerpoint files from them and am able to open them, and have asked why it matters. The best answer I can get is that "you might want technical support" and we couldn't give it to you." I think its mainly a matter of someone having written a list of requirements that include processor type and capacity for a PC, and they see no need to worry about it because "everyone uses a PC." Its tough to be a minority.
