1 - to suggest by an automated response to genuine people who send html-only mail that they should resend in text only or multipart/mixed, because text-only is just the minority opinion, and 2 - to reply to spammers, who are right now the majority users of HTML mail, as part of the same automated reply. Thanks Tracy Lee, Bill McIntyre and Roger Diggle.
