There was an article in today's LA Times that might be of interest to those of you who use Earthlink dialup. Earthlink is laying off 25% of its workforce and will farm out all telephone tech support for its dialup service to other companies. If you make a tech support call, you may be talking to someone in India.
If you have Earthlink broadband, your tech support calls will continue to be handled by an Earthlink employee in the US.
