I used to type "your momma" on all of my installs. I >worked in Claris Tech Support for almost 3 years and as a tester for 3 >more, so I did my share of installs... Interesting. The same occured to me when installing Office:mac 2001 I had just dutifully purchased from a reliable computer store on my home mac. Not finding any serial number on the box, the notice, the CD or anywhere else, I finally typed in a serie of 1, and it worked. When I open these apps, the info screen now shows (replacing genuine numbers by "x") "Product ID: xxxxx-111-1111111-xxxxx, neatly arranged as a Microsoft Product ID should be. When I said that in the windows community, they all laughed stating it was truly impossible and unheard of in the Microsoft world. Do you believe this is the same story as the Claris one ? -- Jean-Pierre <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> ___________________________________________________________________________ To unsubscribe send a mail message with a SUBJECT line of "unsubscribe" to <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> or <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
