Sounds like your File Exchange settings have been screwed up. Check the File Exchange control panel and make sure .html is still mapped to the program you want. Making this change will NOT effect files already on your computer, just newly received files from then forward. >In addition to help with this particular gremlin, any thoughts on how to >manage html messages in general would be appreciated - is there a simple >html reader out there that would act well in combination with CE? There is at least one script on my FTP site that will deal with HTML messages. It depends a lot on what you want done with them. I personally throw them all out. But IIRC, I wrote a script that will insert the HTML right into the body of the received email getting rid of the file entirely (and also keeping it from being viewed in a browser, but at least you can now read the HTML text and store it with the email itself). -chris <http://www.mythtech.net> ___________________________________________________________________________ To unsubscribe send a mail message with a SUBJECT line of "unsubscribe" to <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> or <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
