Hi Dave, I'm using SpamSieve without problem. I even got the updated SpamSieve/Emailer apple scripts. It's only catching about 1/25 of the spams, but I have it runnign after a mail action that trashes all blank emails that are not from anyone in my address book. So it's not too bad.
Maybe you have some bad applescript parts somewhere? I have the ones that say they came with the Classic environment. Also some bits in a folder named "Scripting additions". Those d_store files shouldn't happen unless you open the folder. Twisting the disclosure triangle in list view counts as opening the folder. Since Emailer seems to be working ok for you without Spam Sieve, maybe you might want to try SpamFire instead? Keep the faith!
