.pcx files are an older graphics format used on Windows PCs. They can be opened by my favorite light-duty graphics application- the extremely versatile GraphicConverter by Lemkesoft. Whenever I have something I've never seen before, I throw it at GraphicConverter and I can usually open just about any graphics format, no matter how uncommon it is.
