Emailer doesn't do SMTP authentication. However, I do use Emailer to get  
and send mail through Verizon. I use two separate setups to do this. One 
to get and one to send. If you decide to try it, I can tell you what I 
use in each to get it to work. Don't know how long it will work, so I 
have set up Entourage "just in case."
