It could be that you're entering the user name incorrectly. I don't
remember exactly how it went with Pac Bell's switchover to yahoo, but in
general it's common to get a "password incorrect" response when what you
really did was enter an incorrect user name. I entered this in the
"Email Account" field, and it works for me:

[EMAIL PROTECTED]

Username is the part of my email address that comes before
"@pacbell.net". If that doesn't work, you can also try substituting .net
for the .com after Yahoo. But .com works for me.

You need to get Baton Mail from chris' web site: www.mythtech.net

Baton Mail acts as an intermediary between your Emailer and your smtp
server. In effect, you set up Emailer to send mail to Baton Mail, and
then Baton Mail relays it on to the pacbell/yahoo server. I don't use it
much because my business' email server doesn't require smtp
authorization, and I decided to use that for most of my outgoing mail.
If you run into problems, please feel free to email me. I might not be
able to offer you more than sympathy, but I can give it a try.

Good luck!
