Although if you have this option it is MUCH better than using Baton 
Mail... but I should give you the FYI... you need SOME kind of relay 
protection on your mail server or it is just a matter of time before a 
spammer finds you and uses you to send out thousands of emails. Trust me, 
you don't want that headache.

But there are LOTS of ways to secure a mail server that still let you use 
Emailer without SMTP Auth, so your company may already be doing one of 
them.
