I am still having this problem as well. Using 10.2.6. I have tried throwing away the temp folder, then closing all other folders and restarting emailer and it does not work. Even restarting Emailer multiple times does not make some of the emails go away. They never get deleted unless you trash them from the finder. Also, when checking more than one email address, it only shows the emails from the first address until you restart. The the other ones show up as well.
