Speaking of unrelated and desperate, I'm unrelated and desperate... I mean I have an off color - I mean off-topic problem I've been trying to avoid discussing here. But we're now on the topic of off-topic, so here's the problem...
Several dektop rebuilds later, I've got a bunch of generic icons for both the apps and many documents of Mozilla and Acrobat Reader. I'm rebuilding by trashing the dektop file, which is reported to be the most thorough way to do it, but - if anything - things got worse instead of better the last time I rebuilt. Any ideas out there in, aahhh... umm...... Right! eMailer Land! (I just *know* I heard that somewhere around here.....)
