Emailer keeps its help files in the Claris folder in the System folder.
It doesn't actually matter where you keep the QuickHelp application.

The version of the QuickHelp application that will launch will be the
newest one in the Finder's Desktop Database. That means, the newest one
to have been "created" on the drive. If you duplicated the file, the
duplicate is newer than the original. If you copied the file from another
location, the copy is the newer.

So your act of removing and replacing the QuickHelp, could very well have
caused the 2.0 version of QuickHelp to be the newest as far as the Finder
is concerned.

This isn't really directly Apple's fault. Apple didn't create the
QuickHelp system, they leased the program from a 3rd party. HelpViewer
was Apple's way of bringing everything in house.

However, QuickHelp for the most part is backwards compatible. The problem
you are having is the Emailer help files need a newer version of the
QuickHelp engine then the Finder is launching. Try doing a Find File for
QuickHelp, then remove all but the latest version of the QuickHelp
application. Keep the older ones on a backup somewhere in case you have
to replace one... there are a few instances where a Help file will not
open correctly in newer versions of the QuickHelp engine.
