First thing, run some kind of disk checking tool to make sure the drive is ok. Then double check that you don't have a new bad Temp Incoming file. The remove the Emailer prefs file (either in the Emailer folder, or in the Claris folder in the System folder). Then reboot with extensions off and see if Emailer opens normally (it won't be able to collect email, but we are just verifying Emailers ability to run). Then try a basic rebuild of the database.
