Hello every one. I use a dial-up (modem) to connect to the Internet and get my e-mail when I am in my home office. When I travel, unfortunatley, the telephone lines in the hotels are often so bad that I can only connet at a rate less than 28K and the connection drops at that speed withing a min or two. Recently, I have noticed that hotels are offering ethernet connections - I have an ethernet port on my lap top but no clue how to connect using it. Can someone tell me if I am still using the Remote Access Panel and how do I point it away from the modem and to the ethernet port?
