This discussion leads me to ask "why bother?" to use iCab unless you are 
just bent on not using anything from the Evil Empire.

I tried it a year of so ago because it was described as "lean" and of 
course "not Microsoft."

But after a while I found that many web pages, particularly the ones at 
the University where I teach part time, just didn't act right with it, 
and I seriously doubted that Bill Gates was noticing my protest anyway. 
Also, "lean" doesn't really matter to me since half my hard drive is 
still vacant.

So I held my nose and went back to IE, and it works so much better for me.

Am I doomed to burn in hell?
