I don't use Baton Mail any more, so my experience with it is historical.
But I recall that when using it with Claris Emailer, and using CE to switch
among SMTP Accounts, somehow Baton Mail required reconfiguration. As it is
very easy to setup OE Accounts to do ASMTP, and is easy to switch an
outgoing message from one account to another, I just switched to OE when I
need to use ASMTP.

I'm not saying that I like or prefer OE. But it has this ASMTP feature
which increases ease of use in this instance.

There's another issue, too. I have my domain mail forwarded to another POP.
In Claris Emailer, in order to receive and send mail from this "Main"
Account, the Account must show my POP box. Since the POP box and the return
address are different, there are some recipients that reject that email. OE
Accounts somehow break this in the headers, so I don't have that "rejected
email problem." I know I can overcome this in CE by using separate accounts
for "Send" and "Receive," but that's too complex.
