Doug,

Assuming you are running OS9: You need to look in your File Exchange 
control panel. Activate the "PC Exchange" tab and click on the "PC 
Extension" column heading. Then scroll down until you find "html". Double 
click and it will give you a list of apps available to use for opening 
"html" files. You will probably do best to associate Internet Explorer or 
Netscape Navigator to open such files... unless you WANT to read raw 
html... then use BBEdit or a resonably robust text editor (NOT 
SimpleText!)

If you are using OS X, you can't use the File Exchange control panel. Go 
to the actual html file via the Finder & ctrl-click it. Use the Get Info 
window to select the application you want to use to open html files and 
click the option to "Always open with".
