The file I received is a simple HTML file. You can view such files in any internet browser, such as Mozilla <http://www.mozilla.org/products/mozilla1.x/> or Firefox <http://www.mozilla.org/products/firefox/>. I think Mozilla is still available for MacOS 9, but Firefox is only available for Mac OS X (yet another reason to upgrade! :-) If the file isn't opening in your browser when you double-click it, then the advice I'd give will depend on whether you're using 9 or X. BTW Word is horrible, you're better off opening HTML files in a proper text editor like Alpha <http://alphatcl.sourceforge.net/> or BBEdit. >So what software do I need for this kind of document. Well, what you really need is the Thunderbird email client <http://www.mozilla.org/products/thunderbird/>. In Thunderbird, the HTML attachment you sent is parsed and displayed inline - no need to open a browser! Thunderbird also lets you choose to view messages as Original HTML, Simple HTML or Plain Text. Your attachment is displayed properly in each mode. Neat! Thunderbird is Mac OS X only, and thus heads the list of reasons to upgrade :-) >And by the way it looks like an interesting subject but so far I >have not found this verse in the Qur'an on my computer. Personally, I don't place much stock in that sort of thing, but if you can corroborate the reference, please let us know. :-) Mr. Noyb. ___________________________________________________________________________ To unsubscribe send a mail message with a SUBJECT line of "unsubscribe" to <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> or <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
