   Thanks for your prompt reply.

If you watch was it actually unpacked, you will notice that it downloads

It seems to fail to unpack on the first attempt, but will do so on each
additional attempt. So from the perspective of multiple accounts, it will
look like either the first or last is failing to have its messages
unpacked (depending on how you watch the action, if you watch it collect
and unpack, it will look like the first fails, if you don't watch it and
rather just see which accounts have mail, it will look like the last
failed to unpack).

And to make it more confusing, sometimes, when it starts unpacking the
ones it failed to the first try, it will pick up a few of the new ones
that were just added, so sometimes it looks like random messages don't
unpack.

And the issue is not unique to the .DS_Store file, rather it will happen
with any OS X invisible file that is in the folder (any file that starts
with a period).
   Makes sense.

Thanks again for you guys excellent help in solving this problem. While Emailer is not as "current" as it could be, a lot of people still like its then cutting-edge feature set and depend on it for their daily eMail existance. Without a great group like this they would be lost.

Hopefully, over time, Apple Mail will add some of the missing features that we all liked Emailer for.
