I have the exact same attitude as you.

Reply to all for the benifit if those that can't or don't want to wait 
for the list server, and hope that everyone else doesn't mind getting the 
duplicate email.

I think the Emailer list is actually the only one I am on now that even 
allows this behavior. All the others I am on either reply only to the 
sender, or only to the list, even when choosing Reply To All.
