Doug, For what its worth, I subscribe to a freedive list where quoting the entire previous message rather than selected portions necessary for clarity will get you unsubscribed after a warning or two. On that list we have many people overseas and with slow dail-up connections, some paying by the minute for internet access. In the case of this list, I doubt that very many are in the same boat, but quoting entire posts still makes it hard on people who subcribe to the digest to wade through all of it and fills mailboxes faster.
