You may use the script "clean message" by David Cortright on your 
outgoing message before sending it. This is a configurable script which 
does about seven things (dequote lines, unwrap, remove forward headers, 
fix urls etc.) I have one configured just to fix urls. The above urls 
were all fixed in one single pass by "clean message". Quite handy

If I were you, I would also avoid higher case characters as suggested 
earlier by Chris
