Try putting your full URL (hot link) in opening and closing chevrons
(Shift-, and Shift-.).

Your URL should look like this:

"Search.com The Web: Results for �very long URL�

<http://dw.com.com/redir?edId=3&oid=6070-5_1-0&siteid=1&ontId=5&tag=ksrch_ex
p_srch&subj=very%2Blong%2BURL&destcat=5_1-0&desturl=http%3A%2F%2Fwww%2Esearc
h%2Ecom%2Fsearch%3Fq%3Dvery%2Blong%2BURL>

When the URL comes into an email, it should be formatted for proper
clicking.

In Claris Emailer, you would command-click (apple-click) the link, and it
will act as a clickable link.
