I just discovered another little trick which Emailer does, in combination
with the Apple Data Detectors, which maybe everyone else knew, but I
didn't, and it is convenient. I keep my master address book in a
Panorama database file (www.provue.com for a demo copy of the world's
coolest database), and I have just set up one field for eddresses, as
most people I have entered have only one, except for the many who have
multiple eddresses.
For those people, I would just enter the multiple eddresses serially in
my database field, separated inconsistently by either a carriage return,
a comma, a semicolon, or whatever. However, I just found out that if one
separates the entries using the chevrons {<>}, and if one has he
AppleDataDetectors installed, one can then command click on the
particular eddress one wants and it will correctly open (if necessary)
Emailer and put the eddress in the To field in Emailer. (Without the use
of the chevrons, then all the eddresses in the database field get
transferred into only a single To field in Emailer, which of course
doesn't work!)
Thus, it appears that the best way to separate a series of eddresses
anyplace for practicality may be to use the chevrons.
