I answered Robert off list because the details were far too off topic for this list. I only expect another professional developer to get the details, so I'll try and summarize for the curious. I use a third party compiler for my professional work. There are rumors that they will make an OS X capable version for MacIntel. If this is the case, I will be highly motivated to make an Emailer clone. If the rumors prove to be false, then I might still be motivated to do it with Apple's tools, but to paraphrase Chris, don't hold your breath. If I do decide to do it, It will likely take a while. But if I start asking the list for suggestions and comments on features, things will be looking more likely.
