Hi David; Before I respond directly.... With all this talk of creating a new 'next gen' Claris Emailer mail client, would it be worthwhile to do it open source, launch the project, and let everyone get involved as much as they might want to? I would be pleased to create a mail list and host some web space for the express purpose of starting it as an open project. That might allow it to at least launch and give those who are thinking 'non commital' about a lot of time to just play with it as they want to. As THIS list dissipates over the next few years, I can't imagine the conditions getting better to launch such a project... and over time people will slowly find other solutions unless the project were to be underway well enough to be ready to replace as is needed. For me, this brings up a (Perhaps irrelevant) larger question. Is there any such thing as a cohesive "Macintosh open source' focused community, aside from Mac gravitating towards being Linux friendly with the beginnings of OSX?
