>Can you suggest hot to use it in a test mode to check that all my

Very easy. Unstuff the SMTP Auth version after downloading it from my web
site. Drop the application into your Emailer folder (same place the
current Emailer application is). Quit your regular version of Emailer,
start the SMTP Auth version.

That's it. No other changes. If things don't work, simply quit the SMTP
Auth version, and run your regular version.

>Is it equivalent to Emailer in spite of its smaller size (2 MB only)?

It IS Emailer. I believe the reason the size is smaller is because it was
made using the PPC only version of Emailer. Most people when installing
Emailer installed the FAT version (PPC and 68k versions combined). So the
68k code is missing from the SMTP Auth version, thus it will be smaller
(and not work on any 68k based machines).

>Is it compatible with the other tools like Emailer Custom Settings ?

It should work with anything that works with Emailer, after all, it IS
Emailer. It has just had a little bit of extra code jammed into it.

>Can it use the same mail folder as the regular version of emailer during
>the testing period ?

Yup, see above.
