Hi Charles, I am not sure why, but we will try to use Firefox and keep testing and see how many tabs we can open and load up before it's locking up. We think it's pretty much the limit of the computers RAM and processor speed, and the internet connection related. How many tabs did you open before it's frozen up for you?
We have heard users complaining about Tiger causing their iChat totally not working (was working great under Panther), and others say something about the wireless router they use is now acting up under Tiger. Mostly all complaints are pointing to communication issues. We have a G4 iMac that will not automatically connect to wireless router every time we boot it up, but all others are behaving fine under Tiger. Firefox 1.5 Beta seems to work fine so far for us also, kind of like the gmail (still in beta also, but works). If I can open 100 tabs (which I doubt it), then I will let you know. --- Shenan >09/20/2005 09:13 AM Charles Riggs [EMAIL PROTECTED] > >On Sep 20, 2005, at 3:02 AM, Quadmation Inc. wrote: > >> you do mean 512MB not 512k RAM, right? > > I've been fooling with these things for so long I can remember >when 512K was a lot.
