That's the key for me: restart the application every few days. I don't
use Firefox as intensively as you do, so I generally will wait seven days
or so before restarting it. This is a small price to pay for a web
browser which, in my experience, is head-and-shoulders above the rest.
I've just started playing with Camino, which is based on the same engine
as Firefox and has recently been updated, and it might prove to be the
better of the two. Either way, though, I see no comparison, at least in
my own experience, between the browsers from the Mozilla project
(Firefox/Camino/Mozilla/Netscape, in that order) and any other current
Mac-compatible browser.
