I'm reasking Erik's question from earlier today, because I don't think he 
wrote it up properly to catch the attention of the people that he needs.

Is anyone using Emailer with Earthlink mail servers? If so, are you using 
Earthlink's SMTP Auth servers? (smtpauth.earthlink.net). If so, are you 
using the SMTP Auth hacked version of Emailer? If so, does it work? If 
so... can you pipe up and let Erik know if there was anything special you 
had to do to get it working?

He can't get the hacked version of Emailer to work, it seems to be 
rejected, with what looks like possibly it is using the wrong Auth type. 
The hacked version only supports the Login type, and I'm surprised that 
Earthlink wouldn't accept that. Alas it looks like Earthlink is rejecting 
outside IP addresses from even connecting, so I can't telnet to their 
server to see what it reports.

Anyone able to give Erik some help?
