I'm reasking Erik's question from earlier today, because I don't think he wrote it up properly to catch the attention of the people that he needs.
Is anyone using Emailer with Earthlink mail servers? If so, are you using Earthlink's SMTP Auth servers? (smtpauth.earthlink.net). If so, are you using the SMTP Auth hacked version of Emailer? If so, does it work? If so... can you pipe up and let Erik know if there was anything special you had to do to get it working? He can't get the hacked version of Emailer to work, it seems to be rejected, with what looks like possibly it is using the wrong Auth type. The hacked version only supports the Login type, and I'm surprised that Earthlink wouldn't accept that. Alas it looks like Earthlink is rejecting outside IP addresses from even connecting, so I can't telnet to their server to see what it reports. Anyone able to give Erik some help? -chris <http://www.mythtech.net> ___________________________________________________________________________ To unsubscribe send a mail message with a SUBJECT line of "unsubscribe" to <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> or <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
