My brother just implied a similar thing when I asked him: > >OS X will adjust to do all the maintenance work when the machine is >consistently idle. You don't need to set anything. Now I am wondering why, even tho' OSX is supposedly doing its maintenace and I have Onyx supposedly "maintaining" my computer on a daily. weeky and monthly schedule, I always have permissions that need to be fixed whenever I do so manually - using Disk Utility - every now and then, just for fun.
