Hi Bea, >So do I understand that to open such an Email attachment you have to run a >separate software program to open it correctly in plain text?
Well, [EMAIL PROTECTED] is Applescript-aware. There should be an Applescript menu item (looks like a scroll) in the Menu bar -- mine is between the "Window" and "Help" items. Selecting a script from this menu lets it run in [EMAIL PROTECTED] >I don't have Body and Strip Here's the link to an "Applescripts" folder on Chris' server: <http://www.mythtech.net/emailer/Applescripts/> Scroll down the list to the 20th (if I counted correctly) script, which is "HTML_to_Body+Strip.SIT" (without the quotes). Download that and unstuff it. Drag the resulting AppleScript to: Applications -> Claris Emailer folder - Claris Emailer Files folder (there may already be some Applescripts in there) [If you have [EMAIL PROTECTED] in your OS 9 folder instead of the OS X Applications folder go there to do the above] Pull down the Applescript item in the [EMAIL PROTECTED] Menu bar and you should see the "HTML to Body and Strip" item there (they're listed alphabetically -- I put a space in front of the HTML to make it show up at the top, since I use it most frequently. When you get an html attachment in [EMAIL PROTECTED] select it in the "attachment/paperclip" window; then pull down the Applescript menu, choose the HTML to Body and Strip", and let it run. The body of the attachment message will appear in the [EMAIL PROTECTED] message window sans any html junk. -- Selah! Bwms -= "Microsoft is a cross between the Borg and the Ferengi.
