Oops.

Actually, -d means (d)uplicate file/directory structure, not (d)elete 
files that have been removed.  I might have known this if I had 
continued reading the manpage :)

Just shows that trying to explain things I don't understand isn't an 
appropriate activity before I've had coffee.
