I see that those ones with 0.6mm lead thickness are rated for 3A each,
up to 60-pin connector.

By parallelling more pins you can get a better rating.

Just to add, I recognised quite a few of those connectors, some used
in Thinkpads to connect RAM or CPUs, some used widely in various
industry and some 3-leveled blue connectors used on Carl Zeiss
encoders... (a 2000-grid encoder has output of 8000 quadratures per
revolution, that's rather nice :))
