Hi Jon, The Honda MR series connectors used on the Mazak V5, etc might come close. I don't know the current rating of the pins but they are certainly suitable for all the low power stuff. I use them for encoders.
http://www.hondaconnectors.com/ then search for connectors beginning with 'm'. Think ` $6 each for the male and female and maybe $7 for the hood and a dollar for the latch.
